Johnson City Judo Club General Info
We are a non-profit organization based in Johnson City, Tennessee.
We are a USJI member club and a USJA Charter B club
The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at two locations for your convenience:
Tuesdays: 7:00 to 9:00PM. Girls Inc., 227 Library Lane (On the hill behind Munsey Methodist on Roan St. Take W. Market St. ext from I-26 , then turn right on Colonial Way, right on Library Lane. ) Cost is $2 per person per class

Beginners and advanced adult (16 years or older) students are welcome.
You will need to purchase a judo uniform or gi (currently $27-37 depending on size), available from Brian Rowe . Karate gis are not sturdy enough for judo.
We ask that all members join the USJA for promotion and insurance purposes. There is a small fee for each belt promotion. The rank of black belt first degree will typically take a diligent student about 4 years. Promotions are done based on exams and tournament points. Promotion requirements are found at
